INTRODUCTION
The grab pneumatic ship unloader is a high-efficiency bulk material handling system combining a mechanical grab (clamshell bucket) with a pneumatic conveying pipeline. The grab digs into the ship’s hold to collect coal, grain, cement, or other powdered/granular materials, then feeds them into a suction nozzle where powerful air flow transports the material through sealed pipes to shore storage. Typical capacities range from 300 t/h to 2,000 t/h, handling vessels up to 100,000 DWT. This unloader minimizes dust emission and product loss, making it ideal for environmentally sensitive ports.
